;) I know, me loves purple too. Hey you never know, maybe one day you will have one of my pieces. It's taken me about 20 years to finally get one of my own! How crazy is that?

I'm sure some do, I've just never been able to afford to keep one of mine I've loved. Paying bills was more important. Plus I thought it would be kinda selfish, but I'm glad I don't feel that way about this one. ;)

Yea,thats understandable...bills,bills,bills...lol
I think i must be pretty selfish,im loathe to sell ones i finish and are proud of...its even hard to hand over ones people have paid me to do lol I strive to do a good job for them and when it comes to giving them over,i think "i really like this one...doh!"
Strangely,i often give old ones away to friends with no real problem..whats wrong with me...lol
Im glad you've kept one for yourself too, maybe in another 20 years, you might own 2 :D

Well, I've loved giving my pieces away since the begining, so maybe that's why it's never been an issue for me. I know lots of artists that have a difficult time parting with their babies.
Now for the ones that I've had a hard time letting go of, it's helped if I've had the chance to hold on to them for a week or two. Then I'm ready to send them on their way.

Lavishly beautiful and exceptionally well integrated and unified in all of its elements; the work of a modern master...
