One of a kind polymer sculpture by Nicole West.
New piece for the week of 3/24/09

Felt the need to go back and revist a classic of mine.

Thank you so much! Sculpting can be very difficult, I know. I have over 20 years of experience and I am still learning with each and every piece I create. It is a never ending process. I highly recommend finding and image of an "ideal" body and printing it out in various sizes. Use that as a template for your armature and as something to help guide your while sculpting. Proportion is one of the most difficult things to master. I sculpt the head first and then match the body to it. I cure my sculpts in my home oven. The color of the flesh is the actual clay. I mix several colors to get the tone I like.
I hope this is of some help to you!
